Aban Hawkins & 1000 Spikes

Aban Hawkins & the 1000 Spikes is a self-described "hardest extremest craziest platform action puzzle adventure", which is a surprisingly accurate description. Controlling the Indiana Jones-esque (or perhaps Spelunky-ish) explorer Aban Hawkins, the player must navigate trap-filled labyrinths to reach the key hidden within, which can be used to open the door to the next stage. The game prides itself on its difficulty, and each stage contains an almost absurd amount of traps. The game gives Aban 1000 lives, and he's going to need every last one of them.
